The School of Marine Science and Ocean Engineering at the University of New Hampshire is on its way to becoming one of the best schools in the world for its interdisciplinary focus. With the help and direction of Dr. Larry Mayer, UNH was able to create its first school specifically designed to understand the complex challenges associated with marine life and oceanography. With over 40+ faculty members, the core tenets of the school is to connect “societal need to the education and research mission of the programs.”
